Fireworks cap off day of celebration, reflection in Peekskill

A day of fun, music and reflection at Peekskill's Riverfront Green Park was capped off with a beautiful display of fireworks to mark Independence Day.

Officials say that more than 5,000 people came out today for fun, music and fireworks at the park.

Those who came out said the day was also about remembering those who have sacrificed their lives to ensure our freedoms.

"It's a great feeling, of everyone coming together with the same goal and the same pride," said Erich Fielding.
