Greenburgh police probe death of 2-month-old baby
Police in Greenburgh are investigating the death of a 2-month-old baby who went into cardiac arrest while in the care of a baby sitter.
Greenburgh police say the baby, Hanna Guadeloupe Arpi, went into cardiac arrest shortly after being put down for a nap. Police say the baby sitter performed CPR on the infant and then called 911.
The baby was later pronounced dead at Westchester Medical Center.
The Greenburgh police chief called the death a tragedy and says he has no reason to believe it involved foul play.
