Reports: Gov. Cuomo could be tapped as VP in 2012

Gov. Andrew Cuomo's (D-N.Y.) momentum has landed him as the top contender to be President Barack Obama's vice president for 2012.

Over the weekend, the New York Post claimed Obama will replace current Vice President Joe Biden with Cuomo.

In his six months in office, Cuomo passed an on-time budget, legalized same-sex marriage and capped taxes at 2 percent.

Cuomo and Obama say the reports are nothing more than speculation.
