Westchester County to revamp Bee-Line buses
Westchester County has announced plans to overhaul the accordion-style Bee-Line buses, much to the relief of commuters who rely on them.
Plans in store include replacing windows and paint and making the buses more wheelchair accessible with lifts. Commuters say it's about time the buses were revamped. Even with plans to renovate the buses in the works, other commuters say they would also like to see improvements to the bus schedules with more buses available.
The plan is expected to cost around $10 million, and officials hope the federal government can help with funding.
