Missing IN student's uncle discusses rumors in her disappearance

Edgemont native Lauren Spierer has been missing for over five weeks in Bloomington, Ind. Her uncle, David Spierer, recently sat down with News 12 to discuss how the family is dealing with her disappearance and the rumors surrounding the case.

Spierer disappeared on June 3 after leaving a party near Indiana University, where she was enrolled.

Police have investigated numerous leads, but so far have not found anything, and friends of Spierer who were originally cooperating have all retained lawyers.

David Spierer says he just hopes they find her soon and that he was planning on returning to Indiana to organize a motorcycle ride on July 29 to pass out fliers.
