Metro-North train derails; no injuries reported
Metro-North officials say a Hudson Line train derailed just after 6:00 p.m. tonight after departing Grand Central Terminal.
The train, destined for the Croton-Harmon Station, derailed when one of the wheels on the second car went off the tracks, according to officials.
Authorities say no one was injured, but four pregnant women were taken to area hospitals to be checked out.
Officials say the remaining passengers were transferred to another train and taken back to Grand Central Terminal.
