Man accused of killing Brooklyn boy appears in court

The man accused of kidnapping and killing an 8-year-old boy from Brooklyn pleaded not guilty in court today.

Police say Levi Aron, 35, took Leiby Kletzky in his car to his apartment Monday night after the boy got lost on the way to meet his mother and asked him for directions. Aron later allegedly smothered the 8-year-old.

Kletzky's remains were found in Aron?s home as well as in a Dumpster in Sunset Park, according to investigators.

Police say they are also investigating Aron's confession that he took Kletzky to a wedding in Monsey before he allegedly murdered and dismembered the child.
