Funeral services held for Mt. Vernon teen shot in head

Hundreds of family members and friends gathered to pay their final respects this afternoon to a Mount Vernon teenager shot and killed last weekend.

Police say 19-year-old Otis Singleton was shot in the head by Brandon Rosado in Middletown on July 9. They say Rosado is facing murder charges and that the incident may have been gang-related.

During services at the Camelot Funeral Home, loved ones described Singleton as a sweet young man who loved to make people smile.
