Same-sex couples anxious to wed

The rush is on for gay couples who want to get married this weekend as the state's new same-sex marriage law takes effect on Sunday.

Dr. Joanna Gjelsten and Paula Sabul have been together for three decades and are one of hundreds of couples who will make their relationship official when they tie the knot and become legal spouses.

They will exchange their vows inside the Greenburgh Town Hall, where volunteers, including many local judges, will be on hand to take part in the historic day.
