DA: Driver in fatal wrong-way I-95 crash was drunk

The Westchester County District Attorney's Office says the woman behind the wheel during a fatal wrong-way crash in New Rochelle over the weekend was drunk.

The district attorney?s office says 26-year-old Tanisha Gomez drove more than 6 miles in the wrong direction on I-95 on Sunday.

They say she slammed into an oncoming car head-on and the passenger in that car was killed.

Gomez is now charged with manslaughter and remains in the hospital.
