Police find U-Haul full of marijuana plants

State Police have arrested a New City man for allegedly possessing nearly $1 millon worth of marijuana plants.

They say a routine traffic stop in Orange County lead to the unexpected find. Troopers report they pulled over Matthew Fishman in Harriman for a traffic violation when they smelled the pot.

Inside the U-Haul, they say they found 393 pot plants worth over $1 million.

Investigators then went to Fishman's home in Monroe and say they found more pot at his house on County Route 105.

Fishman was arrested and is being held in Orange County Jail.
