Missing WC student's uncle runs awareness bike ride in IN

David Spierer, the uncle of missing Edgemont native Lauren Spierer, took part in the "Lauren Spierer Awareness Ride" today in Bloomington, Ind., along with dozens of other motorcyclists.

Spierer says he organized the event to keep his niece's disappearance in the spotlight.

The 45-mile ride began and ended in Bloomington, where Spierer, an Indiana University sophomore, was last seen after a night out June 3. Despite hundreds of volunteer searches, no trace of her has been found.

Spierer?s father, Robert, said he's "very grateful" for today's event, and pledged again to stay in Indiana until his daughter is found.
