Friday's storm causes destruction in Westchester Co.
Westchester County was hit hard by yesterday's storm, which saw 80 mph winds that left a path of destruction in its wake.
Meanwhile, in Orange County, the National Weather Service determined that an F-1 tornado struck yesterday, with wind speeds reaching up to 112 mph.

After the tornado hit, the storm weakened as it made its way to Westchester, where it was classified as a microburst activity. Residents who have lived in the region for years all agree that they had never seen a storm of such force strike the area.
Work crews are still cleaning up downed trees and power lines, and Con Edison crews are working on restoring power to more than 1,000 homes that still don't have electricity. Con Edison officials say they hope to have all power restored by this evening.
