Romney launches 2012 campaign

(AP) - Mitt Romney is telling Barack Obama, "Youhad your chance."

As he launches his bid for the Republican presidentialnomination, Romney is accusing Obama of having "failed America."He says Obama took an existing recession and made it worse.

Speaking at a southern New Hampshire farm, Romney previewed acampaign message focusing on economic issues: rising gas prices,high unemployment and persistent foreclosures.Romney may be getting some more company in the Republican field.Sarah Palin and Rudy Giuliani are also visiting New Hampshire.Palin is set to arrive in the state later today, continuing afamily bus tour that left Washington last week.

Giuliani, during a New Hampshire visit that included a privatemeeting with state activists, told reporters that the nation isbeing led in the wrong direction by Obama. He says, "Whatever heinherited, he should've straightened out by now."
