Spierer, a student at the University of Indiana, has been missing for six days after she left a bar near the school?s campus. She was last seen at around 4:30 a.m. Saturday morning, and police say they located her shoes at a bar and her keys in the street.
Police say the security footage is from a camera outside Spierer's on-campus apartment. They confiscated computers, hard drives and discs yesterday from her apartment building's security office, and have reportedly come across what they are calling "items of significance."
Investigators say they have begun administering lie detector tests to some of Spierer's friends about the events leading up to her disappearance.
Police, volunteers and the girl's parents had kept their search within Bloomington city limits, but today decided to expand into neighboring areas.
Friends of Spierer have also begun traveling to Bloomington to assist in the search efforts.
