Donald Trump gets green light to develop N. Westchester estates

Donald Trump has been given the green light by a state court to develop a large tract of land in northern Westchester.

The area, which spans the towns of Bedford, North Castle and New Castle, is only accessible through an access road which some neighbors and a local organization, called the Nature Conservancy, had sued to keep off-limits to Trump.

The ruling allows Trump to move forward with his plans to build 20-30 mansions, each expected to cost $20-$30 million each.

Neighbors say they are concerned that the new construction will also destroy the nature preserve located next to the property.
