Greenburgh hunting down traffic-ticket scofflaws

Drivers who got a traffic ticket in the Town of Greenburgh in the past decade may have gotten away without paying it, but not anymore.

The town court is now trying to clear an incredible backlog of 100,000 tickets that were never processed.

An audit of the Greenburgh Town Court found piles of unpaid parking and moving-violation tickets, and now the town is working extra hard to collect all money owed.

Drivers have already started getting notices in the mail and 2,500 outstanding tickets have now been paid.
