Special search team to join search for missing Edgemont girl in IN

A special search team with high-tech search equipment is heading to Indiana to join the search for Lauren Spierer, who has been missing since June 3.

Spierer, 20, grew up in Edgemont and attends Indiana University in Bloomington, Ind.

She was last seen heading back to her apartment early in the morning.

Police have been combing through witness statements, surveillance footage and other evidence to try and locate her.

Officials say they do suspect foul play in the disappearance.

Spierer's case was featured last night on "America's Most Wanted" in an attempt to drum up new leads.

More than 1,000 people from Indiana and Westchester have joined in the search to try and locate Spierer.

Spierer's family has announced they are offering a $100,000 reward for information leading to the return of their daughter.
