Yonkers residents celebrate Flag Day at City Hall

Yonkers residents attended a special ceremony at City Hall today to commemorate Flag Day.

Members of the military, veterans, politicians and community members all came together to salute Old Glory and those who've served her.

Calling the flag a symbol of sacrifice, Gold Star Mothers President Hope Holinsworth Coaxum spoke about what the flag means to her after losing her son, Staff Sgt. Courtney Hollinsworth, who was killed four years ago while serving in Iraq.
