Firefighters battle blaze in Mount Kisco

Firefighters battled smoke and flames on 88 Lexington Ave. in Mount Kisco this morning.

The fire broke out just before 6:30 a.m. in the two-story structure.

Six people, including some children, suffered injuries from burns and smoke inhalation.

Fire officials say some of the residents had to jump from the second-floor windows to escape the flames.

Fire marshals have yet to determine the cause of the fire.
