New court date set for ex-Yonkers Councilwoman Annabi

A judge today set a new trial date for former Yonkers City Councilwoman Sandy Annabi, who is facing charges that she allegedly took bribes in exchange for council votes.

The trial was supposed to start today, but was pushed back when prosecutors added a new indictment last month.

The trial is now set to begin on Feb. 14. She has pleaded not guilty to all charges.

Annabi is accused of accepting $167,000 in bribes to change her votes on two controversial construction developments in Yonkers, including the Ridge Hill development in 2005.
