Yonkers man drowns at Bronx beach

A Yonkers man drowned at Orchard Beach in the Bronx on Saturday, and some witnesses say there was concern the lifeguards did not have access to a defibrillator.

Joseph Bellaby, 33, died on Saturday. According to witnesses, there was a question about whether a defibrillator was available for lifeguards to use.

Defibrillators are required at all New York City parks, and there has been no word on whether one was available at Orchard Beach.
