Pomp and circumstance for Eastchester H.S. seniors

After four years of hard work, the 210 seniors at Eastchester High School officially became graduates today.Due to a chance of rain in the forecast, the graduation ceremony was moved from the softball field to the gymnasium, but that did nothing to dampen the jubilant mood in the room. Assistant Principal Christopher Fiore says these seniors represent the best of what Eastchester has to offer, and he believes they have left their mark on the school."This class has raised the level of school spirit to tremendous heights," Fiore says. School officials say the class of 2011 has a bright future ahead. Ninety four percent of the graduates are headed to college in the fall.
