Bronx man pleads guilty to murder of Yonkers couple

A Bronx man has pled guilty to two counts of murder in connection with the fatal stabbing of a Yonkers man and his girlfriend last year.

Clemente Gomez, 33, was charged with killing his friend, Tyrone Green, along with Green's girlfriend during a robbery back in January 2010.

The couple was killed inside their Van Cortland Park Avenue apartment, where they allegedly dealt crack-cocaine.

Police say Gomez and Green had been friends for years after serving time in prison together. They say Gomez believed Green had a large stash of cash and drugs, motivating the slayings.
