Police search for Harrison bank robber

Police are trying to track down a man who was captured on surveillance video robbing a bank in Harrison this morning.

Investigators say a few customers were inside the Chase bank at 402 Halstead Ave. when the suspect handed the teller a note that said he had a gun.

Nobody was injured. Police say the robber fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Investigators are using K-9 dogs to track down the suspect's scent.

Police say they're looking for a white male with salt-and-pepper hair who stands about 5 feet 9 inches tall. They say he's wearing a gray YMCA T-shirt with red lettering.
