Memorial held on what would have been Kameron Jacobsen's birthday

A somber memorial was held at Smith?s Cove Park today to make what would have been Kameron Jacobsen?s 15th birthday.

Jacobsen committed suicide after allegedly being bullied at school and online.

Friends and family were on hand to offer their favorite memories followed by releasing dozens of brightly colored balloons into the sky.

Those in attendance say the purpose of the memorial was to keep his memory alive and promote kindness over malice.
