Ardsley parents join battle against bullying with forum

Parents in Arsdley joined the battle against school bullying last night by attending a special class with their kids that is designed to better prepare both parties for dealing with and discouraging such behavior.

Motivational speaker and author Scott Freed spoke openly about bullying, tolerance and the need for kids to learn to be more accepting of themselves and others.

Ardsley PTA member Lori Feinsilber says that parents and school leaders felt that it was time the kids try to understand what is really going on when children bully one another. The lecture is part of a weeklong schedule of events that is aimed at educating the entire student body about bullying.
