Police on Long Island find more remains

Authorities found two more sets of remains on Long Island Monday, bringing the total number of bodies dumped along a desolate highway to a possible 10.

"We're using our resources, going to do all that we can to bring this animal to justice," says Nassau County Executive Ed Mangano.

Nassau County police are back searching the area along Ocean Parkway by helicopter one day after two sets of suspected human remains were found. Bones were found inside a plastic bag about a mile and half east of the Jones Beach water tower. A skull was then discovered more than 90 feet in from the road, sticking out of the sand near Tobay Beach.

If the remains belong to two different people, it brings the total number of victims of a suspected serial killer to 10.
