Large crane brought in to flip capsized barge in the Hudson River

A large crane has been brought in to assist flipping over a barge that capsized more than two weeks ago.

The barge had been carrying rock from the Tilcon Quarry in Haverstraw on the Hudson River.

A diver spent today attaching straps to the vessel to help the crane flip it. Crews hope to begin trying to right the barge either late Tuesday or Wednesday, but tidal conditions will play a factor in their efforts.
