WC students making life choices on Career Awareness Day

More than 100 students from the Greenburgh 11 School District got a head start on their futures today as they participated in a Spring Career Awareness Day in Dobbs Ferry.

Officials at the Children's Village of Dobbs Ferry, who hosted the event, say that career days like the one held today help students take another positive step in getting excited about their futures.

"I've always considered the Army since I was a little kid, but now I definitely might go," said 12th-grader Marcus Bartell. "I'm trying to be an entrepreneur at the same time."

More than 20 companies from around Westchester and New York City were on hand to introduce the students to potential career opportunities.
