FBI joins hunt for possible LI serial killer or killers

The FBI will be joining police investigators on Long Island as the search continues for a possible serial killer, or killers, who have been dumping human remains along a stretch of Ocean Parkway.

Since December, at least nine sets of human remains have been discovered along the parkway. Police continued their search Thursday, returning to some of the spots where remains had previously been found. They were joined by FBI investigators who used sophisticated cameras to capture high resolution images thousands of feet below the ground.

Investigators are also interviewing multiple people in connection with the discoveries and say that they hope to close in on whoever is responsible.
