Tree planted in Cortlandt in honor of fallen NYPD officer from WC

A flowering pink dogwood was planted today at Cortlandt Town Hall in memory of NYPD Officer Alain Schaberger, who was killed in Brooklyn last month.

Schaberger, who was from Cortlandt, was killed when a suspect allegedly pushed him over a railing while being arrested.

Fellow officers from the 84th Precinct in Brooklyn were on hand for the ceremony.
