Police: Yonkers murder suspect may be dressing as woman

Investigators in Yonkers say that the third suspect wanted in connection with a July double murder may be dressing up as a woman in order to evade authorities, and police have now stepped up their efforts to bring the man to justice.

Yonkers police went door to door yesterday at the Calgano Housing Complex on School Street where suspected killer Ronnell Jones apparently lives with his family.

Police say Jones is the third suspect in a fatal shooting last July that left two men dead and injured four others, including a young child. A $5,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to Jones' arrest and conviction. Anyone with information is being asked to call Yonkers police at (914) 377-7725.
