Burglars take cash, gun in Yonkers home invasion

Yonkers police are searching for two suspects who made off with cash and a gun in a home invasion Friday night.

Investigators say two men broke into the home at 147 Ritchie Ave. around 8 p.m. and used duct tape to tie up the homeowner. The suspects fled in a burgundy minivan, taking $51,000 in cash and a handgun.

Neighbors say the victim owns a car-towing business in Yonkers and they believe he may have been targeted.

Police are urging anyone with information to call them at (914) 377-7724.
