W. Plains PD report nightclub after double shooting

A White Plains nightclub has been reported to the New York State Liquor Authority after two people were shot following an incident at the allegedly overcrowded club early Sunday morning.

Police say they were called to Club Cabo at 107 Mamaroneck Ave. around 2 a.m. to break up a large crowd, but that the crowd started to turn violent as soon as officers arrived. The injuries are said to be non-life threatening.

Police say they reported the nightclub to the liquor authority because of the alleged overcrowding they encountered when they first arrived.
