SUNY Purchase finds new revenue in airport shuttle service
A new shuttle service that will allow travelers at the Westchester County Airport to park their cars at Purchase College appears to be a win-win situation for all parties involved, providing cheaper parking for travelers and increased revenue for the school when education funding is scant.
A new shuttle service called "Purchase Park 2 Fly" provides shuttle service for travelers, who are now allowed to park their cars in a designated lot on the Purchase College campus.
Airport officials say they are already grappling with the parking issue at the facility, advising travelers to find rides to and from the airport, or other alternatives, as parking can be scarce.
The Purchase service currently costs $5 per day, while parking at the airport is nearly $27. For more information on the program, click here.
