Teen hospitalized after fall from ledge at Yonkers school

Police are investigating reports that a 14-year-old boy in Yonkers was either pushed or jumped out of a school window today.

An anonymous caller told News 12 that the boy was teased, leading him to jump from a second-story window at the Yonkers Middle High School just before 9 a.m. Police say that the boy's glasses somehow ended up on a second-story windowsill, and that the boy was left dangling after trying to retrieve the glasses. Investigators are probing several possible scenarios: that the boy might have been pushed out of the window, that he climbed onto the ledge himself and simply fell, or that he jumped intentionally.
