100 firefighters battle 2-alarm Armonk house fire

Six fire departments responded to a two-alarm fire last night after flames broke out on the roof of an Armonk home.

Neighbors were driving by when they noticed flames shooting out of the house on Greenway Road and called the police.

The fire was put out, but not before taking out the roof and the second floor of the home. Firefighters are still investigating the cause, but say they believe that it was accidental.

The family was inside at the time, but no one was injured in the fire.
