WC native gets 50 years for killing chef uncle

A Yonkers native was sentenced to 50 years in prison yesterday after being convicted of killing his uncle, a famous chef and restauranteur in Connecticut.

Marash Gojca was convicted last November of murdering his uncle, Joe Vuli, after an argument between the two back in 2004.

Vuli, who has appeared on News 12 in the past to show off his culinary skills, ran the Gusto Restaurant in Connecticut. Friends and witnesses said that Vuli disappeared after having a fight with Gojca.

Vuli's dismembered body was later found in garbage bags in Bedford during an Earth Day cleanup event.
