Remains of soldier from WC arrive in Yorktown for services

The Yorktown family of an Army specialist who was killed in a roadside blast in Afghanistan brought home the remains of the fallen soldier Monday as memorial services are being scheduled for later in the week.

Army Specialist David Fahey, Jr., 23, is the 11th soldier from Westchester who has been killed while fighting abroad after his vehicle was struck by a roadside bomb last week.

Wake services for the hometown hero are being held today and Wednesday at the Yorktown Funeral Home. Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday at Saint Patrick's Church in Yorktown.
