Cops: 1 stabbed after fight at Thornwood home
Police say that one man is recovering in the hospital after he was stabbed multiple times following some kind of fight at a Thornwood home Monday morning.
Mount Pleasant Police Chief Louis Alagno says that his officers responded to a Peaceable Court home around 8 a.m. on reports of a stabbing. A 26-year-old man was found with multiple stab wounds, and was quickly rushed to the hospital. A 33-year-old man was arrested, but Alagno says that the cause of the fight and the stabbing are unclear.
Police say the victim's injuries are described as non-life threatening, and added that they have been called to the home in question several times in the past.
