Names of WC teens appear on web 'smut list'

A sexually charged Facebook page that lists the names and hometowns of dozens of teenage girls in Westchester, dubbed "The Smut List," is raising concerns among parents and students just days after it appeared on the web.

The list, which does not list a creator, names dozens of girls from towns such as Rye, Port Chester, Harrison and New Rochelle, as well as out-of-state locations such as Greenwich, Conn.

One student who was named in the list says she was shocked to discover she was on the list and found it hurtful that anyone could do something like that.

Concerned parents and students have e-mailed News 12, saying that the page is equivalent to cyber-bullying, and Facebook pages in support of deleting the list are already gaining ground.
