Police search for gunmen who opened fire in Yonkers

Police say they are searching for the gunmen who opened fire in Yonkers tonight, striking two innocent bystanders.

According to authorities, a 9-year-old boy and 31-year-old man were hit on Spruce Street at around 6:30 p.m. They say the boy was playing in a park filled with other young children next to P.S. 23.

Witnesses say several young men are responsible for the gunfire and hope police are able to get them off the streets soon.
