Police: Man with gunshot wound crashes car into utility pole

White Plains police say they are investigating after a man with a gunshot wound crashed his car into a utility pole Friday evening.

Police say paramedics were called to the scene on Dekalb Avenue at around 5 p.m. and found a man inside a beige Nissan Maxima with a gunshot wound to his stomach.

Resident say they saw the man crash into the utility pole, but didn't hear any gunshots.

Police say the victim was in critical condition at the scene and was rushed to White Plains Hospital.
