Sen. Schumer calls for audit of tour bus drivers

Sen. Schumer (D-N.Y.) is calling for an audit of tour bus drivers after a crash that killed 15 people on I-95 last week.

The driver, Orphadel Williams, had a criminal record including multiple license suspensions and a conviction for manslaughter.

Schumer wants the Department of Motor Vehicles to audit all the licenses of drivers who work for low-cost bus operators to ensure the drivers are safe.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D-N.Y.) has called for an immediate investigation into how Williams was able to obtain a commercial driver's license.

Cuomo has also ordered more checkpoints to ensure the safety of the passengers aboard.
