$20 million suit filed against driver in BX bus crash
One of the passengers who was injured when a tour bus flipped over and crashed, killing 15 people along the Bronx border, is now suing the driver and the bus company.
Yuke Chue Lo, 74, suffered head injuries in the crash along I-95 on the Bronx/Westchester border earlier this month and is now filing a $20 million lawsuit as a result.
Driver Ophadell Williams has maintained that he was sober and fully rested while driving the World Wide Tours bus, but Lo's lawsuit claims that he had been nodding off before the bus overturned. Williams has not been charged in the crash.
