Police: Yonkers school bus driver had fake license

A Yonkers school bus driver is among a dozen drivers arrested in New York for allegedly using fake names to obtain driver's licenses.

Police say at least 14 bus drivers have been arrested in the state-wide crackdown, which was launched after a fatal bus accident in the Bronx killed 15 people.

State police say Arnaldo Rodriguez, who had been using the name "Luis Rivera," obtained a fake license using someone else's documents to qualify for a job in New York. According to authorities, facial recognition software picked up that Rodriguez's picture appeared on more than one license.

The company that employed Rodriguez, Mile Square Bus Company, was not available for comment, though several drivers employed there say Rodriguez is the exception, not the rule.
