Driver injured after car crashes into Mt. Vernon building

Police are investigating a late-night accident in Mount Vernon, where a car crashed into a building.

Officials say the crash happened shortly after 10 p.m. Tuesday on the corner of South Fulton Avenue and East 3rd Street.

Sources tell News 12 Westchester the car jumped the curb and slammed into the commercial building. The driver was taken to the hospital with a few broken bones, police say.
