Latest round of winter weather mostly spares the Hudson Valley

After numerous storms dropped foot after foot of snow across the Hudson Valley, the latest winter storm was seen as a welcome relief after dropping mostly rain.

The weather did cause a few accidents on the roadways and made some sidewalks slick.

While there was some freezing rain and snow making travel difficult in the northern part of the region, many said they found this storm a lot easier to deal with.

Though today's storm brought only rain, News 12 meteorologistsare predicting more snowstorms headed for the Hudson Valley next week.
