Police investigate rash of burglaries in Yonkers

Police are investigating a rash of burglaries on the east side of Yonkers that have left five homes broken into in the past week.

Investigators say that a home on Valley View Drive, three homes on Nimitz Road and a home on Cook Avenue have all be broken into.

Officials would not say how the burglars got into the homes or what was taken but have said that so far no arrests have been made.

Police remind residents to be vigilant and ensure their doors and windows are locked.
